Mastering Twitter Marketing 04: The “Big Three” in Free Tools or Services for Twitter
Marketing is just part of business. There is no exception when it has to do with online business. Twitter provides a free tool to carry out this marketing to millions of people. I have already talked about getting twitter followers, types of effective tweets. and setting up your twitter account.
Now it’s time for the next step in maximizing the effectiveness of your Twitter marketing campaign. This step, like the others, is free. There are some upgrades available with 2 of these tools, but they are not mandatory by any means.
Twitter Marketing Tool #1: Tweet Deck
Tweet Deck is a completely free tool for Twitter. It allows you to control multiple accounts, including other social networking websites like Facebook and LinkedIn. It can act as your social media presence manager.
The best feature, by far, is the ability to schedule tweets. This allows you to set when you want a tweet or post to go out. This allows you to automate your social media presence. Set posts for the next week if you are going on vacation. I like to do as little automation as possible, so I would just set it for when I was in school and couldn’t post.
Twitter Marketing Tool #2: Manage Flitter
ManageFlitter is a tool you can use to quickly unfollow people on Twitter. This is good for when you are using the follow/unfollow method I explained in this video. You can unfollow them by selecting them and clicking unfollow. It’s that simple!
You can upgrade your account to pro level and be able to follow people the same way. Probably searching by interest. You can also track your statistics. Both of these are useful, but not necessary. I have not upgraded and I don’t really plan to.
Twitter Marketing Tool #3: Twitter Counter
Twitter Counter is a great tool to track the amount of followers, tweets, and people you follow for free. You can see these statistics in weekly, monthly, 3-monthly, and 6-monthly breakdowns for free. This allows you to see how the trend is going. If you employed a new technique then see if it’s working by looking at how your followers are trending.
This tool also comes with an upgrade that you can pay for. It allows you to get hourly and all information. It also allows you to see statistics for retweets and mentions. Again, not mandatory. I haven’t upgraded. But it is an option.
Twitter Marketing Tool: The Conclusion
Using these tools can help you out with your Twitter Marketing. Although, you still need to make sure to follow the other steps. This can make your reach on Twitter even larger and more effective.
Any tools that you know of? Tell us about them in the comments!

Wow! the Tweet Deck really sounds cool. The best part to me is the fact that it is free. Can you imagine the comfort and the freedom that comes with scheduling your tweets? That means as you work on other important things, your marketing will still be taken care of. That is really great!
Yeah. Tweet Deck is an awesome tool. It makes it so much easier to run your Twitter. Going on vacation? Just set some tweets beforehand.
